SFLA approach to solve PBUC problem with emission limitation

چکیده
In this paper, the Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm is proposed to solve the Profit Based Unit Commitment problem under deregulated environment with emission limitation. The bi-objective function optimization problem is formulated as a maximization of the Generation Companies profit and a minimization of the emission output of the thermal units, while all of the constrains should be satisfied. This work, considers the new softer demand constraint to allocate fixed and transitional cost to the scheduled hours. The IEEE 10 unit 39 bus test system with 24 h data is taken as the input for simulation using MATLAB 7.10 version. From the results obtained, it is observed the proposed algorithm achieves maximum profit and minimum emission level with less computational time compared to traditional unit commitment. 2012 Elsevier Ltd. متن کاملA Simple Approach for Optimal Generation Scheduling to Maximize GENCOs Profit Using PPD Table and ABC Algorithm under Deregulated Environment
Received Feb 8, 2013 Revised Aug 1, 2013 Accepted Aug 18, 2013 In this paper an attempt has been made to solve the profit based unit commitment problem (PBUC) using pre-prepared power demand (PPD) table with an artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm. The PPD-ABC algorithm appears to be a robust and reliable optimization algorithm for the solution of PBUC problem. In a deregulated environment, ge...
